Cultural Immersion Tour and Trips for Groups
We organize more authentic cultural experiences for High Schools and Universities. Cultural immersion tours give travelers experiences only locals normally have access to. Cultural immersion tours tend to combine the best parts of travel and sightseeing. They can be a great way to start learning a language or take your existing skills to a new level. Gaining fluency and conversation skills in a second language is one of the most rewarding experiences a person can have. Taking part in a cultural immersion program also means that participants will encounter a wider range of people, and a broader vocabulary, than they would in a regular touristic experience.
Volunteers will be involved in language sessions, drumming and dancing lessons organized by the ”GyeNyame” Cultural Troup, registered under the cultural centre of Ghana. Learn how villages use ”talking drums” to communicate within the village and between different villages – a technique that is still in use today.
Participants will combine their lessons with a tour to historic sites in Ghana including the slave trade castles and forts (Cape Coast and Elmina), Kakum National Forest (Canopy Walkway), the Monkey Sanctuary, Wli Falls (highest waterfall in West Africa), the highest mountain in Ghana, The villiage of Stilts of Nzulezu, Mole National Park and many more
N/B: There is a different pricing for the Cultural Immersion Tour and trips for groups.
The Visa Process
Obtaining a Ghana Visa isn’t all that difficult. It does require some busy work filling out forms; however the process is simplified on the Ghana Embassy website. Obtaining a visa costs $60 plus shipping and takes around two weeks. Future Stars will provide the invitation letter, and all needed supporting documents. There is a checklist on the Ghana Embassy website for everything you need; Ghana visas are typically good for three months.

You’ll work alongside locals to pitch in with their day-to-day lives and the challenges they face. Volunteers will spend time in our partner schools te be involved in their school activities, engage in language lessions, cultural drumming and dancing lessons with their traditional meaning, help renovate school facilities or even help the school farming project and take a trip to historical sites including the slave trade castles and forts (Cape Coast and Elmina), Kakum National Forest (Canopy Walkway), the Monkey sanctuary, Wli Falls (highest waterfall in West Africa), the highest mountain in Ghana, the village on stilts of Nzulezu, Mole National Park and many more.
Our previous participants on cultural exchange programmes have gone on to a wide range of careers and experiences, having gained versatile social skills and resilience during their time with us.
Schools and Colleges
Inspiring college and school expeditions providing a challenging and rewarding experience for youths.
Educational, meaningful and affordable school expeditions are hard to come by. Ideally, as a teacher, you’ll be looking for a trip that does not only meet specific curriculum objectives but helps your students’ educational and personal development. Well, look no further . . .
Taken out of their comfort zones, your students will have a unique opportunity to learn and develop new skills that will support their schooling and life after education. Furthermore, you could accompany them on this eye-opening and rewarding adventure.
Our aim is to make the entire experience for you as a group leader as simple and hassle-free as possible. Therefore, we take care of a lot of the admin, provide inclusive school expedition packages, and help your group through every step of their trip journey so that you feel supported from start to finish.
The experience starts long before the trip itself. Through fundraising the money required to go on the trip, your students can gain invaluable life skills such as money management, independent decision-making, and planning. Following the experience, we are confident that they will return as more resilient, enterprising and rounded individual, having had an insight into what it takes to become a global citizen.
